Mr and Mrs Swann-Gould
We were back at the ever-gorgeous Eastington Park in Gloucestershire, a venue we always love returning to. The weather had been threatening showers and blustery winds all week, but Mother Nature must’ve been rooting for Mr & Mrs Swann-Gould, because the sun showed up right on time.
This one was extra special for us – we had the absolute joy of photographing the bride’s sister’s wedding three years ago, so today felt like a little reunion!
So many familiar, smiley faces. It’s such a treat getting to be part of these milestone moments across the years.
Let’s talk about the dress – oh wow. Not only was it absolutely breathtaking with intricate beadwork and the most dreamy long veil, it had pockets. We repeat: POCKETS. We’ll never not be excited about that!
The bridal party kicked off the morning with bubbly, happy tears, and plenty of laughter — a few nerves, but mostly love all around.
The ceremony itself was beautiful – a touching poem read by the bride’s mum had everyone misty-eyed. And after their joyful "I do"s, the newlyweds boogied back down the aisle!
Confetti flew, cheers erupted, and the celebrations had officially started!
We stole the couple away for a bit of quiet time (and, of course, some stunning portraits) in the lush grounds of Eastington Park – even the neighbouring cows seemed intrigued!
Back inside, the speeches brought the perfect mix of belly laughs and heartfelt moments, followed by the cutting of a seriously beautiful cake, adorned with the most realistic edible flowers we’ve ever seen. It was almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
As golden hour rolled in, we snuck out for some dreamy sunset shots before the party really got started. The dance floor was buzzing – helped along by a very cool dry ice machine.
Late-night snacks? Oh yes – there was a pizza oven firing up fresh slices, and a basket of flip flops ready for anyone needing a break from their dancing shoes. Genius move.
